About
Hello, I am Simon Hirscher and happily welcome you on my site!
Being 19 years old, I’ve already had plenty time to explore the world. More precisely, the world of computer science.
For years, this site had been nothing but a tiny portfolio of my projects, together with some more or less interesting links and a simple guestbook. In the meantime, I enjoyed thinking up things and creating them but all of them ultimately lacked people knowing enough about them to give constructive feedback. This is the reason why I finally created this site as you can see it right now. On the right you can find the projects I have been working on lately – unfortunately, I haven’t had the time to list my former projects (including a small CMS and a forum software) there, so far. I’d love to hear from you what you think about my ideas and even more if you want to support me!
As bits and bytes aren’t the only thing I like to read, think and discuss about, you will probably also see articles on political and economic issues appear, many of which will be in German. This is mainly due to the fact that I’m going to talk about the situation in my country and therefore address those readers coming from here. I hope you don’t mind seeing English and German content or even words get mixed betimes (in the tag cloud, for instance).
